James "Big Jim" Okafor is one of the most respected throws coaches in the country. Over 20 years he has coached 2 Olympians, 8 NCAA champions, and dozens of state title winners at the high school level. A former collegiate shot put record holder at 20.14m, he combines old-school intensity with modern biomechanical analysis. His rotational technique progressions are considered the gold standard.
